Alliance Forums

Alliance Forums aim to provide opportunities for Alliance members to collectively undertake strategic discussions, planning, prioritising and decision-making; and to develop shared understanding and goals as an Alliance.

Forums will seek to provide members with an opportunity to:

  • Participate in consultation, decision-making and prioritising processes
  • Identify and establish working groups
  • Receive updates from and input into existing working groups
  • Review, monitor, update and discuss issues related to child and youth mental health, such as emerging trends, patterns and gaps across sectors
  • Build networks and connections across services and sectors
  • Other activities as identified by the membership and/or the Coordinating Committee.

Forum membership is open to Alliance members who are interested in and committed to participating in collaborative activities to work towards developing improved mental health service system responses for children and young people in the ACT. If you would like to enquire about forum membership, please contact

Alliance members are invited to propose topics for discussion for forums. Proposals are invited for forum sessions that promote opportunities for members to engage in strategic discussion, consultation and/or shared decision-making on issues related to child and youth mental health. This may include nominating or leading session topics in areas of interest or relating to specific projects or initiatives.
